As cancer patients, we may have specific expectations and needs from other human beings, whether they are friends, family members, healthcare providers, or members of your community. 

Money is undeniably important in human life, as it plays a multifaceted role in meeting various needs and fulfilling numerous aspects of life. However, its importance should be viewed in context and balanced with other aspects of well-being.

There may be some key points to consider regarding the importance of money in human life.  Money is essential for securing basic necessities such as food, clothing, shelter, and healthcare. 

Without sufficient income, it can be challenging to meet these fundamental requirements for survival and comfort.

Money is also can significantly influence one's quality of life. It enables access to education, healthcare, and recreational activities that can enhance overall well-being.

Money also provides the freedom to make choices about how to live one's life. It allows for career choices, travel, and the pursuit of personal interests and hobbies.

While money is undeniably important, it's crucial to recognize that it is not the sole determinant of happiness or a fulfilling life. 

Human beings have a range of expectations and desires from each other, often rooted in our social, emotional, and psychological needs.

What do we expect from others?

Respect: 

We expect to be treated with respect and dignity. This includes respecting their opinions, boundaries, and personal space.

Kindness and Compassion: 

Humans naturally desire kindness and compassion from others. Acts of empathy and understanding help build positive relationships.

Trustworthiness: 

Trust is fundamental in human interactions. We expect others to be honest, keep their promises, and be reliable.

Support: 

In times of need, We often expect emotional and practical support from friends, family, and the community.

Empathy: 

Empathy involves understanding and sharing the feelings of others. People appreciate when others show empathy towards their experiences and emotions.

Helpfulness: 

Assistance and help when needed are valued. People expect a helping hand during challenging times.

Loyalty and Fidelity: 

In close relationships, people expect loyalty and fidelity from their partners and friends. In various group settings, cooperation and collaboration are expected. We appreciate when others work together toward common goals.

Acknowledgment: 

Recognition and acknowledgment of one's achievements and contributions are important for self-esteem and motivation.

Safety: 

In society, people expect safety and security from harm or danger. This includes physical safety as well as emotional well-being.

Non-Judgment: 

People hope that others will refrain from making harsh judgments about them and instead seek to understand their perspectives.

Autonomy: 

While connections are important, individuals also expect the freedom to make their own choices and decisions.

Encouragement: 

Encouragement and support in pursuing one's goals and aspirations are appreciated.

Time and Attention: 

In personal relationships, individuals expect that their loved ones will invest time and attention in the relationship.

Gratitude: 

When one does something for another person, they often expect gratitude or appreciation in return.

Building healthy and positive relationships often involves understanding and respecting these expectations while also communicating one's own needs and boundaries.
